In addition to music performance, I am also interested in library studies and librarianship, especially music and ensemble librarianship. As an undergraduate student, I worked in the Band and Orchestra Libraries at the Mead Witter School of Music as well as working as an Assistant Librarian at the Brevard Music Center during the Summer of 2025. I hope to pursue a career in music librarianship, and as a result, will be looking to earn an MLIS degree in the coming years and to continue engaging in relevant training opportunities.

Wingra Wind Quintet Library
Starting in late 2023, Sydney engaged in a cataloging project for the faculty wind quintet at UW-Madison.
Oversize Score Preservation
As part of their work in the Mead Witter School of Music Ensemble libraries, Sydney has worked on preserving oversized scores.
