SYDNEY KOSTELAC is an MM candidate at the University of Maryland – College Park. Their flute performance interests center around contemporary and experimental music for flute(s) as a focal point amongst their broader classical training. Kostelac also takes interest in librarianship, and is hoping to pursue an MLIS degree after completing their MM.
Sydney graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2025 with a BA in music performance and information with certificates in data science and digital studies. Working as a student librarian during her Bachelor’s degree led Sydney to discover their passion for music librarianship, something they are looking to pursue professionally going forward along with maintaining involvement in flute teaching and performance.
