This page contains a number of digital art projects I created while taking Art 107: Introduction to Digital Forms at UW-Madison. The focus of the course was on digital art mediums including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Rhino 3D, and P5.js. Each of the below projects was made to fit a specific prompt along with incorporating my own creative vision.
VIDEO REMIX PROJECT: Reduplication
The Video Remix Project focused on using Adobe Premiere Pro to create an ~1 minute video that incorporated found sounds, videos, and/or images to create a cohesive concept. The focus of the video is on repetition in day to day life. It uses the song Golgotha by King Woman and the backing track from Eve Beglarian’s Preciosilla for sounds along with other videos and found sounds.
ALTERED IMAGE: Brünnhilde in Thor

The Altered Image project asked students to take a historical image and modernize it in some way using Photoshop. My project takes a photo of Brünnhilde-a cat who played the role of a valkyrie in a historical performance of Wagner’s opera Der Ring des Nibelungen-sourced from the Library of Congress and puts it in the place of the character Valkyrie in the 2017 movie Thor: Ragnarok. It carries on a tradition of placing animals in human situations while also modernizing a historical image.
